Professor Verena Madner, together with Professor Dragana Damjanovic (Vienna University of Technology) and Professor Iris Eisenberger (University of Vienna), hosted the first edition of the Viennese Law Salon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Tuesday, 17 January 2023, at 6 p.m., the Viennese Law Salon opened its doors for the first time at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. The Viennese Law Salon provides a space for international and research-led exchange on the role of law in shaping sustainable social structures. The aim is to foster lively debate on the topics of planning, innovation and transformation \u2013 through thought-provoking approaches, controversial theses and appreciative criticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Professor Gabriele Britz spoke on the topic of \u2018Climate protection through law\u2019. Gabriele Britz is a professor of public law and European law at Justus Liebig University in Giessen and has been a judge at the Federal Constitutional Court since 2011. At the Federal Constitutional Court, she is responsible as a rapporteur for proceedings relating to environmental, planning and regulatory law, among other things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
